Cingular 8125 Software Downloads
Before you proceed, please confirm that this software upgrade is a newer version than is on your device. If it is the same version and your device is operating normally, there is no reason to upgrade. To check the software version on your PocketPC, go to Start, Settings, System tab, Device Information, and then confirm the ROM version, Radio version, Protocol version, and ExtROM version.
WARNING: During the update process the phone cannot be used to make or receive calls.
WARNING: Make sure you have a fully charged battery before you begin the update process. Do not detach the device from the PC during the upgrade process. Your device may be permanently damaged.
The upgrade process takes up to 10 minutes. It is recommended that you close all programs on your PC prior to starting the update program and do not open any applications or files while the update is in process. All personal data stored on the device will be lost. Make sure you save all pictures, videos, and important files to your PC prior to performing the update process.
Steps to Install software:
- Download
Click "download" below and select "Save" to proceed to store the file on your PC's Desk Top. - Connect
Connect your Cingular 8125 with the PC, using the connection cable.
Make sure that your Cingular 8125 battery is fully charged.
Make sure that ActiveSync shows a connection with your Cingular 8125. - Run Program
Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions.
Please note: Do not interrupt the boot process! (The battery must be fully charged.)
