My device charges very slowly. How long does it normally take to fully charge?
Initial charges should be 5-6 hours. If the device is charging slowly, make sure you are using the AC adaptor and not the USB cable to charge your phone.

Why am I not receiving a signal on my phone?
You may be outside of a coverage area or your phone could be in flight mode. To turn on/off flight mode, press the Power button and select Flight mode. To determine if you are in a coverage area you can check the Cingular Coverage Map or contact Cingular at 1-866-246-4852

How do I assign a picture to a contact?
To assign a picture, select Start > Pictures and Videos > Highlight the desired picture > Menu > Save to Contact. Select the contact to assign the picture to.

How do I turn Bluetooth on/off?
Press the Comm Manager key on the side of phone and select Bluetooth. A red X will appear if Bluetooth is disabled.

Why does the display go blank on my phone?
By default, the backlight will shut off if the device is unused for 30 seconds. To change this interval, select Start > Settings > Power Management. Here you can modify the Backlight time out period when the device is using battery power or AC power.

How do I modify my Date and Time settings?
Select Start > Settings > Clock & Alarm > Date and Time. Here you can modify the time zone, date, and time on your device.

Why does my handset freeze when opening video files?
Supported video formats include: .wmv, .asf, .mp4 and .avi. Supported audio formats include: .wma, .mp3, .mid, .midi, .rmi, .amr, .awb, .m4a. Other file types will not be able to open properly.

How do I modify my Home Screen?
Select Start > Settings > Home Screen. Here you can modify the Home screen layout.

How do I lock the keys?
Press and hold the Phone End button.

My device seems to be running slow. What can I do?
Performing a soft reset on the device will stop all running applications and restart the device. This can be done by pulling the battery out of the device and quickly replacing it. It can also be done by selecting Start > More > More > Task Manager > Menu > Stop All. If you have third-party applications installed, some of them may need to be removed to improve device performance.
